Spicy vegetable dal with mustard oil

Ingredients:
1 tbsp mustard oil
1 small carrot
1 small zucchini
50 g green beans
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp turmeric
Salt
pepper

Preparation:
Cut the vegetables into cubes.
Heat mustard oil in a pan and briefly sauté the mustard seeds until they start to pop.
Add the vegetables and season with salt, pepper, and turmeric.
Simmer for 10-12 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
Serve warm – ideal with rice, flatbread or as an aromatic bowl side dish.
