Our golden-yellow, sometimes viscous pomegranate seed oil is a very unusual and rare plant oil with a characteristic fragrance and a robust flavor. This oil is new to our range, and it's already becoming one of our skincare favorites and insider tips.

From pomegranate to oil
We source our seeds from Turkey, organically farmed without pesticides. To preserve the pomegranate's valuable nutrients, we work exclusively with the cold-pressing process. This means that the raw materials are pressed at temperatures below 30 degrees Celsius to extract the oil. Incidentally, approximately 500 kilograms of pomegranates are needed to extract one liter of oil from their seeds—this is what makes pomegranate seed oil so valuable.

Not only the production process, but also its nutritional values ​​make pomegranate seed oil a true treasure: It has a high content of up to 85 percent polyunsaturated fatty acids, with punicic acid making up the main component.

Our favorite in skin care
Pomegranate seed oil tastes delicious and is often used in skin and body care. Thanks to its fatty acid composition, which is very similar to that of our skin, it is quickly absorbed and leaves a wonderfully velvety, non-greasy feeling. Due to its constituents, it is considered moisturizing, nourishing, and regenerative, especially for mature, dry, and stressed skin. Therefore, it is not surprising that numerous cosmetic companies include this oil in their ingredient lists. Customers like to use it as a nail care oil or to add a little extra shine to the ends of their hair. With so many possible applications, it is all the more advantageous that pomegranate seed oil is so effective and can be achieved with just a few drops.

Tip: Pomegranate seed oil combines perfectly with our other oils, such as apricot kernel, rosehip, or almond oil, to create your own skincare line. Whether used on its own or as a duo, you can simply apply a few drops to cleansed skin in the evening as a night cream or mix it into your own cream for an even richer texture.

The virgin oil, which is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids, is also used in culinary arts.
